Referring young people to The Kipper Project

Our tenants and service users are referred to us by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets HOST Young People’s team (Homelessness & Housing Advice team) and by the Leaving Care team.

If you know of a young person who is homeless or in housing difficulty, please contact the HOST team on tel:  020 7364 3558 or email:  homelessness@towerhamlets.gov.uk.

The Dellow Day Centre, run by Providence Row Charity, offers day facilities for people who are homeless, including hot breakfast, shower facilities and specialist advice.

Grants and training providers:

Crisis Loans

These are available to meet expenses that have arisen due to an emergency or disaster. A Crisis Loan is intended to cover immediate short-term needs.  An award may be for a specific item or service or to meet immediate living expenses for a short period, usually up to 14 days. The conditions for a Crisis Loan are strict and applicants are expected to repay it over an agreed period of time.
