We are very grateful to our corporate and individual fundraisers. Their efforts, energy and imagination on behalf of the Kipper Project mean we can provide lots of additional support and facilities for our young people.
Some supporters hold fundraising events for us – anything from a small fundraising event to a year-long pledge of support. Others have gone to great lengths in individual events, raising sponsorship and challenging themselves at the same time.
A big thank you to Barclays Retail & Business Banking Canary Wharf for their support and fundraising in aid of The Kipper Project. Their efforts meant we could fund provisional driving licenses for service users who are in education, training or employment. This has enabled them to gain driving skills and to consider roles further afield, for example evening shifts in catering and other service industries. We have also been able to help a client with costs of professional sports training, giving him the chance to work towards taking part in the 2016 Olympics!
Customers and staff at John Lewis Stratford are supporting The Kipper Project through the ‘Community Matters’ scheme during 2012-13. Each time they shop at the store, or at Waitrose Stratford, customers are given a ‘token’ and they drop it in a collection box. The Kipper Project will receive support from John Lewis according to how many ‘tokens’ have been given in!
If you, your community group or your colleagues are interested in fundraising for the Kipper Project, please call us on tel: 020 7920 7330 or email us at email@example.com.
If you would like to make a donation to The Kipper Project and Providence Row Housing Authority (PRHA), this can be done via JustGiving.
